There are over 92 tennis courts in the Madison area. These courts are located in parks, and are first come basis. Courts can be reserved, but one has to be open for general play. There is a fee for reserving a court that must be paid by instructors or leagues. Here are some of the parks that have tennis courts available.

Bordner Park – 5610 Elder Place

Bordner Park is a 6.47 acre park on the west side of town. There are 2 tennis courts available, as well as basketball courts, open field for soccer and playground.

Brittingham Park - 829 West Washington Avenue

Right on the banks of the Lake Monona Bay, Brittingham Park has a total of 25.1 acres. There are 4 tennis courts available, as well as a scenic bike path. Enjoy relaxing or having a meal at the waterfront picnic area. Fishing is allowed, and has brought many individuals to the park for this reason.

The park also has playgrounds, volleyball courts, shelters that can be reserved, boathouse and bathrooms. There's also plenty of open space available to play a game of football or Frisbee.

Door Creek Park - 7035 Littlemore Drive

Just east of the interstate, Door Creek Park offers 115 acres of land to partake in activities on. One of Madison’s largest parks, and offerings include athletic fields, playgrounds, picnic areas and shelters, tennis and basketball courts, fishing, ice skating and ski trails, and contains Dane County's regional trail system. There are total 4 tennis courts at this park.
