Yahara River Real Estate
The Yahara River, also known historically as "Catfish River," "Gahara River," and "Myan-mek," is a tributary of the 45 mile long Rock River in southern Wisconsin, both of which feed into the Mississippi River. The Yahara River links the four lakes that the City of Madison was built around. The Yahara River rises in northern Dane County and flows past DeForest and Windsor into Lake Mendota in Madison, then southeastwardly through Lake Monona, Lake Waubesa and Lake Kegonsa and through the communities of Monona, McFarland and Stoughton. It joins the Rock River in northern Rock County about 9 miles north of Janesville. This page posts updates to Yahara River real estate listings including single family homes, condos, and vacant lots every 15 minutes.
