The Mousehouse Cheesehaus has been providing Master Cheesemaker crafted cheese to buyers since 1988. The owner of the Mousehouse, Tony and his capable Vice President Heather travel throughout Wisconsin, finding the best cheese and sausages to sell. Currently they frequent 19 separate factories, each specializing in a different type of cheese, be it Swiss, Colby, Cheddars, or Gouda.

The spicy Smoked Igor is a great choice if you like your cheese spicy. Cheese curds are a delicious addition to any meal and come in seven different flavors, like garlic and dill white cheddar. Warmed cheese curds make a delicious dip for soft pretzels. If you are not sure what kind to try, ask for a free sample.

Other Excellent Options

Cheese is not the only thing of note here. There is also homemade fudge, available in numerous enticing flavors, such as birthday cake and root beer fudge. Best of all, if you cannot decide what flavor you like best, you can get a free sample.

Try as many flavors as you like before you decide. The deli also has fresh made to order sandwiches that are finished while you shop. Before you leave, do not forget to grab a summer sausage. For a special treat, get one made from bison or venison.

The gift shop also has some amusing curios for friends and family. Most of them are non-edible so you can be sure that folks back home will get something, even you have eaten all the fudge and cheese before you get home.

Whether you are a local or someone passing through, the Mousehouse Cheesehaus is a great place to grab some award-winning cheese. Friendly service and a dedication to providing the best products make this a must-stop, no matter where you are from.
