Mansion Park is a small townhouse condominium community on Madison’s west side, located just off Starr Grass Drive near High Point Road. The development consists of six units and offers a more intimate alternative to larger condo complexes, with private entrances, spacious attached two-car garages and low association fees noted repeatedly in the MLS history.

Built primarily in the early 2000s, Mansion Park condos are two-story townhomes generally offering three bedrooms and 2.5 baths, with approximately 1,600 to 1,750 square feet above grade. Several units also have finished lower-level living space, bringing total finished square footage to approximately 2,000–2,150 square feet.

The homes share a distinctive, spacious floor plan. Main levels feature generous living and dining areas, open staircases and large kitchens, while all three bedrooms are typically located upstairs. The primary suites are notably roomy and commonly include vaulted ceilings, large walk-in closets and private baths, with double vanities and jetted or whirlpool tubs appearing in a number of units.

Mansion Park was originally finished with features that have aged particularly well, including maple hardwood flooring and cabinetry, ceramic tile, solid-surface countertops, six-panel doors and gas fireplaces with built-in shelving. Kitchens typically include breakfast bars or islands and unusually large walk-in pantries. Many owners have since updated their units with newer finishes; one later sale, for example, featured a remodeled kitchen with white cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless appliances, a farmhouse sink and oversized island.

Outdoor living is another attractive feature. The townhomes have large private decks or balconies, and several MLS descriptions specifically note desirable southern exposure and abundant natural light. End units benefit from additional windows, while some units have exposed lower levels offering additional finishing potential.

Lower levels vary somewhat by unit. Some remain largely unfinished and offer excellent storage or expansion possibilities, while others have been finished with family rooms, recreation rooms or playrooms. Laundry is located within the unit, and at least one floor plan places the laundry and garage access on the lower level.

Association services reflected in the MLS history commonly include snow removal, common-area insurance and reserve funding, with some listings also showing lawn maintenance, trash removal and common-area maintenance. The development also offers common green space, and pets have historically been permitted subject to association rules.

Mansion Park’s west-side location provides convenient access to Verona, Epic, West Towne and the surrounding west Madison shopping and employment areas. The community is also near a bus line and bike paths, making it particularly convenient for a small residential condo development.
