There are also book clubs, gardening tours, and many other activities to get involved with when you live in Walnut Grove. The neighborhood has an active group email, and many neighbors have joined the Walnut Grove chapter of “Nextdoor” where they can post notices, recommendations, classified ads, etc.  The neighborhood recently voted to install the small dog park now located at the bottom of Walnut Grove park. Walnut Grove Homeowner's Association is one of Madison's few neighborhoods that owns and maintains their own greenways and walkways. Step outside your home and access an extensive bike and walkway system from virtually any street or cul-du-sac in the neighborhood! Walk to Alica Ashman Public Library, Jefferson Middle School, Memorial High School , and the many shops and restaurants located at West Towne Mall. Easy access to Madison's West Beltline Highway too!
