Prairie/Craftsman

Originated by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Prairie style house comes in two variations--boxy and symmetrical or low-slung and asymmetrical. Craftsman homes, similar to the California Bungalow, are characterized by their full-or partial-width porches framed by tapered columns, overhanging eaves, and exposed roof rafters.
A good example of Prairie/Craftsman style architecture in the homes located in the popular West Side neighborhood of Middleton Hills.
