Bi-Levels

A bi-level style home, otherwise known as a "split-level", comes in several varieties and has two levels of living area. In general the entrance to a bi-level home is located a few stairs above the lower level and a few stairs below the upper level. Practically-speaking, when you enter a bi-level home, you decide whether you want to go up half a flight of stairs to the upper half of the home, or whether you want to go down half a flight of stairs to the lower level of the home. Bi-levels have low-pitched roofs similar to that of ranch style homes.
