The History behind the Country Club
The country club is the oldest and finest golf club in the state of Wisconsin dating back to 1899. At that time, golf enthusiasts incorporated “Maple Bluff Golf Club” and rented a six-acre pasture to lay out a five-hole course. From there, funding increased and a clubhouse was built which invited people for membership. Many changes and improvements have been made over the years but the layout has remained the same since 1967.
