Ah, spring is finally in the still-somewhat-nippy air and April’s Madison entertainment calendar proves it. Sure, we're headed for some April showers this month, but don't let that stop you from getting out and enjoying some of this month's amazing events.

Parking is free too and you’ll receive a free carnation, be entered in free gift bag and spa/massage raffles too. This event happens from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and…

Beer Tour - Image Credit: https://www.flickr.com/photos/flash716/2798306275

Hop Head Beer Tours has been providing safe and fun craft beer tours in the Madison area since 2010. They have become very popular with adults and provide something unique to do with friends, family, or as a couple. Here's what you can expect when you take a tour with Hop Head Beer Tours.

Not a Party Bus

The tours provided are not like a pub crawl or a party bus situation. Instead, they visit brew-pubs and breweries in the form of an educational experience. Of course there's still great beers to sample, but these tours are more for the beer connoisseur, not your average beer drinker.

The Tours

Hop Head Beer Tours offer bus, bike and charter tours every month which vary based on availability. They offer both public as well as private tours…

If you spent as much as I did over the holidays your pocketbook is no doubt feeling rather light right about now. New Year’s Eve is yet to come, which may take another big bite out of the budget.

I’ve been stalking Groupon and have found a ton of cool ways for women to save money on a lot of the things that might come in handy right now such as massages, manis and pedis and more.

Now, a mention here doesn’t necessarily constitute an endorsement from me. . .merely that it’s a place to get a very cool discount.

Don’t worry, guys, I’ll do one for you too. . .soon.

Blow Dry Style Lounge

This Groupon offers not only a manicure and pedicure, but a mimosa and espresso or cappuccino to go with them!

date night in shorewood hills wi

Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary or just need a night out with your special someone, you can’t go wrong heading to the Shorewood Hills area for a romantic and relaxing evening. We suggest dinner, a movie and a moonlight stroll afterward on the bike path in Shorewood Hills.

New to Madison? Shorewood Hills sits on a bluff, west of downtown. Residents here love the quaint and charming streets, dotted with trees and vintage homes. They also like one another and find any excuse they can to throw a community shindig, like the Fourth of July celebration, the Water Ballet and Ice Cream Social and Gala on the Green.
